| Christmas meeting Monday 18th December 2023 at the Masonic Temple, St. Annes. | |
| WBro. Giles Berkley PGJD Dep PrGM was in attendance as a guest of the Lodge to deliver a presentation / talk to 9 number non-Mark Masons who had been invited along. | |

| The WM, Bro. Mark Brown opened the Lodge with 27 Mark Masons present and worked through the business on the summons, one of the items being the proclamation of his successor Bro. Michael Notman SW as Master elect. Bro. Notman thanked the Brethren. | |
 |
|
| Mention was made of a possible advancement and joining members for next year with the WM being thrilled at the prospect. | |
 |
|
| Once all the business of the Lodge had been carried out the WM closed the proceedings and the non-Mark Masons were invited into the Lodge room. | |
 |
|

|
| WBro. Giles welcomed them all warmly and hoped they enjoyed the evening in the most friendly degree in Masonry. | |
 |
|
| WBro. Tony Farrar and WBro. Giles had set up a projector and screen and proceeded to run the “Magic of the Mark” video. | |
 |
|
 |
|
| Following the video, WBro. Giles went through a very interesting and informative powerpoint presentation about the history and values of the Mark and why the non-Mark Masons should consider joining. | |
 |
|
| The presentation was followed by some robust questions from the non-Mark Masons which WBro. Giles answered eloquently. | |
 |
|

|
| Everybody retired to the bar area for refreshments and the festive board which was accompanied by lively discussion and a very nice Christmas dinner! | |
| A raffle organized by Bro. David Pallister Charity Steward raised £256! | |
 |
|
| A number of the non-Mark Masons indicated at the end of the night that they were likely to join the Magic of the Mark in the not to distant future. | |
A very good and productive night was had by all! |
